Vertrel^® SDG  is a powerful degreaser formulated for use in vapor degreaser applications. This cleaner was specifically formulated for organic contamination and offers heavy duty degreasing of oils, greases and tough-to-clean fluxes as well as excellent environmental properties. It also can be used as a powerful defluxer. This cleaner is an excellent replacement for cold-cleaning applications using the strongest blends of CFC-113, HCFC-141b, HFCF-225, methyl chloroform-based products and nPB.

Specifically, Vertrel^® SDG  is a proprietary triple-azeotrope of a nonflammable hydrofluorocarbon HFC solvent called HFC 43-10mee (which is also known as 2,3-dihydrodeca-fluoropentane), trans-1,2-dichloroethylene and another proprietary HFC.

The primary benefit of Vertrel^® SDG  is that it is one of the most powerful yet economical solvents available. This means it (a) offers very aggressive cleaning, (b) it is nonflammable in all packages and environments, and (c) dries almost instantly.

Importantly, Vertrel^® SDG  is optimized for use in vapor degreasing equipment.
