Yes, there are. DuPont makes all of the different grades of Vertrel^® to their electronics grade purity. This means the accuracy of the blending, the nonvolatile residues and water content are all exactly where you want them, and this information is included on the Product Specs. However, several products, such as Vertrel^® XF, have a super-pure grade for the semiconductor and disk drive industries. This is called Vertrel^® XF Select. It is packaged in glass gallon containers, double filtered to 0.2 microns, and has tighter specifications for additional types of contamination than the standard product. While all of the products are very pure, Vertrel^® XF Select is the cleanest grade of Vertrel^®.
